Callaghan Innovation
-
After 20 years in the same location, Callaghan moved into a newly renovated heritage building in Parnell Auckland, called the Textile Building. We were tasked with bringing this amazing space to life.
-
Callaghan Innovation’s purpose is innovation, research and development. As a government funded organisation, now occupying the heritage Textile Building, it seemed perfect to base much of the theming on Māori weaving.
Māori weaving represents ideas of cultural innovation and the continuous thread as an art form and a container of knowledge and wisdom.
Making use of the large wall space and common areas, we used projectors and mosaic screens for story telling to showcase case studies. By doing this we are able to update the content at any stage, while keeping with Callaghan’s innovative ambience.
Callaghan partners with ambitious Kiwi businesses of all sizes, providing a range of innovation and research and development (R&D) services.
Theme Branding
-
Using the patterns for various weaving techniques, we simplified the shapes and patterns to form a identity language for a wide range of in-house use.
